Tights should go on first (no underwear). then your leotard. If you need a bra, a neutral colored sports bra works, no bright colors, please!

GENTLEMEN: Form fitting clothes that can go under your costumes. Black or white socks based on your shoe color. We will talk through shoes as we work in costume.

HAIR:
GIRLS:
You may choose your own hairstyle as long as it is slicked back and out of your face. Base your style choice on your character
(Rocker Chics = HAVE FUN!, Sporty girls = Pony tails, French Braids, etc)

BOYS: Let’s look at natural styles, just combing it?

MAKE UP:
GIRLS:
Bright blush, brown eyeshadow, FLASE EYELASHES (no exceptions) , L’Oreal True Red Lipstick.
NOTE: If you haven’t worn lashes before, go ahead and start working with them now. Do not wait until you are in the car on the way to dress rehearsal to start trying to put lashes on. We do not have to staff to help with lash application, ALL make up should be on when you walk in the door (lipstick included).

BOYS: We will apply powder and blush as needed.

I will do my best to release kids when they are not needed.
There will be a study area for the kids to work on homework.
Please remember they need to eat before they arrive as there is no eating in costume.

CONFLICTS:
While we hope that Mean Girls is a priority for your schedule, we do know that conflicts arise.  Conflicts (for ANY Mon or Wed night) must be submitted in writing to Jacci Mason at jacci@nashvilletheatreschool.com
We plan the reh schedule around these conflicts, so please get these in ASAP.

Once Jacci receives the conflicts and we approve them, they go on the website.
If you do not see your conflict on the website, that means we do not know about it...so please double check!

The two weeks leading up to the show should remain open for you with very limited and only unavoidable conflicts.  All dress rehearsals, tech rehearsals and performances are mandatory.

DROP OFF / PICK UP
We are located at 106 Page Road, behind the Shell Station.  Doors will open AT class time.

DROP OFF...Please ALWAYS PARK IN A PARKING SPACE, we do not have a hook up line.  Once you have parked you may walk your child to the door, or they may walk themselves if you feel they are capable and safe.

PICK UP...Please ALWAYS PARK IN A PARKING SPACE, we do not have a hook up line.  Once you have parked you may meet your child on the front porch.  We do not want children running into a dark parking lot to meet parents.  Older students may walk to their cars, but most students will need a parent to meet them on the porch.
